Pan-Pro L.L.C. is headquartered in Tinley Park, Illinois, on the southern edge of the Chicago metropolitan area. The company provides innovative, patented, automated replenishment solutions and consulting to manufacturers and their supply channel partners. Because Pan-Pro's solutions are so robust, manufacturers profitably use them for both internal and channel replenishment.
Pan-Pro L.L.C. is a privately held company. Its employees have diverse experience and educational backgrounds, most having advanced degrees in business, operations, or computer science. The result is a dynamic, innovative, quality-driven organization.

Pan-Pro was founded in April of 1998. The company was formed in response to repeated requests to the founders for an effective, scalable, automated replenishment system. Manufacturers and their distribution partners in many different supply channels recognized that there was nothing effective in the market, and the cost of developing an in-house solution was prohibitive.
Pan-Pro began product development in January of 1999, and had three beta clients by June of 1999. The first automated replenishment product was market-ready and operational in March of 2000, and has already created outstanding business results for Pan-Pro's clients.
Pan-Pro is uniquely positioned and experienced to deliver world-class supply
chain solutions at the lowest total cost of ownership.
Pan-Pro's mission is to provide our clients with software, services, and support that delivers a lower cost of doing business and the best service to their channel partners and end users. We will continually improve our product to maintain our lead in the market.
Supply Chain Automation requires systems with world-class reliability and availability. Pan-Pro is committed to providing the highest quality software systems possible.
Our commitment to quality is backed up by our investments.
We invest in our employees, ensuring that they are properly trained for the technologies of today and tomorrow.
We invest in the latest software management tools. Using them, our software factory carefully controls the development process and the resulting work products. Software source code, executables, documentation, and test cases are rigorously archived, with automated software controlling versioning, access, and the build process.
We invest in automated testing tools. Each new release of the software is tested for both proper function of new features and for continued proper function of existing features. When a release is coded and programmers have completed their unit testing, the entire system enters a formal regression-testing period. The now frozen code is automatically executed against predefined test cases and measured against the expected results of those test cases. Exceptions are noted by the system, and any errors are corrected and full testing redone.
Our investments in training, process control, and automation tools are reflected in the quality of the products we deliver for our clients.

One of the challenges of supply chain management is that success requires expertise in multiple disciplines. Successful business to business replenishment requires manufacturing experience and channel experience, along with replenishment theory and practice. Automating business to business replenishment requires substantial IT skills as well.
To provide the depth of expertise needed to successfully implement automated replenishment, Pan-Pro clients are supported by three functional business areas:
The operations group is responsible for implementing and supporting our clients operation of the system. The group is divided into two teams.
Implementation Staff: focused on ensuring that new clients and their partners are set up as efficiently as possible. The staff provides clients with a defined implementation strategy and capable project management, primarily from people with a technical background.
Operational Staff: focused on providing clients with customer service and front line issue resolution. The staff provides clients with call-center support, primarily from people with customer service and materials management experience.
The operations group is further supported by capable management with both extensive education in operational research and management theory, and with applicable materials and replenishment experience.
Our marketing and sales staff members have significant business education and high tech industry experience. Management supports the sales and marketing group with their own substantial distribution and manufacturing company experience.
Our developers are skilled in implementing high availability solutions to real business issues, using leading edge technologies. Management supports their skills with substantial experience in large scale project management and implementations in a manufacturing and supply chain environment.
